The Resort

What are the check-in and checkout times?
Check-in time is 2pm and Checkout 10am. However, these timings are flexible and Mangoes Resort can make special considerations if necessary. 

What is the standard Electric voltage?
The electric voltage is 240 V.  Our power sockets are the same as those in New Zealand and Australia.  You might need a converter/adapter. There may be occasional power fluctuations hence it is advisable to unplug your electrical products, after use.

What are your office hours?
Office Hours are from 8am – 6pm daily. The owners live on-site and can attend to urgent requests even after hours.

When can I get a Tusker?
The Restaurant at Mangoes Resort is open from 7am till late. Last dinner orders are at 9pm. (unless advised otherwise) 

How secure is Vanuatu?
The Vanuatu Islands are very safe. Nevertheless, we have two security guards patrolling the grounds from 6pm – 6am everyday.

Can I smoke in my room?
All our bungalows are Non-Smoking. Mangoes Resort will be happy to provide ashtrays if you’d like to smoke on your balcony.

What communication facilities does Mangoes Resort offer?
There is a telephone in every room. Guests staying at Mangoes Resort also have access to Internet and Fax facilities.

Can I book tours through Mangoes?
Mangoes Resort has its own tour agency. Melanesian Tours has an information desk on-site and can help you select a tour according to your interest and budget.

What airport transfer options does Mangoes Resort recommend?
Mangoes Resort’s exclusive Travel & Tour agents-Melanesian Tours, offer an excellent airport transfer service.  Their luxurious air-conditioned vans will pick you up at the airport and drop you off at the Resort. 

How far is Mangoes Resort from the town centre?
Mangoes Resort is just an 8-minute stroll away from the bustling Port Vila Township.
